Ramona da Gama’s passion for live music and her visits to Blues Alley Club in Washington DC, The Blue Note, Cotton Club and SOB’s during her many trips to the USA inspired Ramona to launch Blues14 the club that offered the ultimate experience in live music and the chance to get a taste of all things American.
She managed Gil Scott Heron and together with Andy Powell, Ramona promoted the 30th Year Anniversary Gig for Wishbone Ash at The Shepherds Bush Empire. During her 10 years at BW14 she worked with many great bands and musicians from Wishbone Ash, Chesney Hawkes, Dana Gillespie, John Martin, Hank Marvin, Gino Washington, Rod Argent, Jim and Steve Rodford, Rufus Thomas, Chaka Khan, Ronnie & Art Wood and many more artists who found BW14 a great place to perform and ‘hang out.’
She is a business growth strategist who now works with SME’s, Entrepreneurs and innovators helping them to launch and grow their brands. She also works with large corporates to help them retain and build relationships with their clients, senior management and to help grow by managing change and mitigating risk.
